This Project is designed to challenge your skills and sharpen your focus on precision in woodworking. It's also a great opportunity to experiment with soft metals like brass, which is a lot easier than you might think, but you can always replace the brass inlay with a contrasting wood if you wish. The plans also give alternatives for veneer options if you don't want to make your own veneers.
These plans include what you'd usually expect from a set of online plans:
- Step-by-step building instructions (20 pages)
- A full materials and hardware list for one cabinet. (Double everything if building two)
- Measured Drawings
- Both METRIC and IMPERIAL measurements are included in each download
You'll also get:
- The 7-part video series with an extra Intro Video where I walk you through the build and share thoughts on different construction methods, materials and design considerations
- SketchUp Files (in metric & imperial)
- Fusion 360 Files (in metric & imperial)
- DXF + SVG File templates for the doors- ideal for CNC or laser cutting
- A 20% Discount for ONE month on my Patreon if not already a member, giving you access to all Tier 2 content, including over 10 bonus videos on this cabinet build. There's even a video on Working with Brass if you're new to brass.
Note: I design and build in Metric. Because of the intricate dimensions in this piece, the Imperial sizes have been changed slightly so you don't end up with difficult fractions.
Each Side Table measures 700W x 650H x 500Dmm (28" Wide x 26" High x 20" Deep) Although the depth can be changed to whatever you like.
The SketchUp File and Fusion 360 File has been included in both Metric and Imperial incase you wish to edit the sizes to your own specifications.
This piece is designed for intermediate woodworkers and above but I'd encourage beginners to give it a go if you're looking for a real challenge.
These plans are a Digital Download. A link will be emailed to you after checkout. Please check your spam folders just incase
Enjoy the build. I hope it pushes your skills and inspires new ideas
